Museums At Stafford, Virginia:
Virginia Air and Space Center (close to Williamsburg and Virginia Beach): Aerospace museum that holds more than 100 exhibits, including the Apollo 12 command module and several IMAX films. IMAX 3D technology is the most advanced 3D film technology in the world and is based on human vision. They have a full passenger jet you can play in. The kids practiced take offs and landings for hours! Intresting and very educational.

White Oak Civil War Museum:
It displays one of the world's most extensive collection of Civil War artifacts, most of which were found in Stafford County and the Fredericksburg Area. Admission: Adult $4. Teens and Senior Citizens $2. Ages 7-12, $1. Under 7, Free. Hours: Open 10:00-500, Wed-Sun.
Aquia Episcopal Church:
Aquia Church is one of the oldest colonial churches still actively used in America. Built between 1751 and 1757, Aquia is noted for its three-tiered pulpit and Aquia stone trim. Visitors travel from around the world to study its example of the Lord's Prayer as hand-painted in calligraphy on wood behind the altar. Hours: Open daily, interior tours by appointment. 8am-5am Mon-Fri

This family-style bar & grill is a great place to bring the family, friends or co-workers. Steaks, seafood, burgers and sensational salads are delicious in-house, or for carside-to-go.

William Forest Park (Experience a place where history and nature unite):
Virginia has a variety of parks ranging from national forests to state parks to civil war battlefields to local regional parks but William Forest Park is with the most amenities. The park is extremely quiet and you will find plenty of deer, rabbits, turkey’s etc. Parking lot by picnic area, trailview in april after a fresh rain!, stream bridge, small bridges, big bridge over the stream, ruins of the pyrite mine, lookout for beavers!, trail views and small waterfall. You can see beavers swimming around in the water while you're hiking. The park visitor center will close at 5 pm on December 24th, and reopen at 9 am on December 26th.
